I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Kailee and Keaton started dating in middle school. Their very first date was to the movies to see Pixar’s “Cars.” Now, over a decade later, the two have tied the knot.
After Kailee was dressed, she went outside to meet her soon-to-be husband, the man who has stood by her side for over ten years. Their first look is one of the sweetest I’ve EVER seen! They both cried. They both laughed. They both breathed deep and enjoyed their moment alone before the craziness of the day got into full swing.
One of Keaton and Kailee’s songs is “Grow Old With You.” Keaton sang it to Kailee during their first look. The AWWWWWWs can commence now! It was such a sweet moment! I’m pretty sure this is one of the memories on your wedding day that you’ll never forget and that truly slows down time.
Just in case you were wondering about a first look, from what our couples have told us, the first look is a totally different moment that actually ENHANCES the walk down the aisle. Keaton cried during their first look AND when he saw Kailee coming down the aisle inside the church. Both moments were special and full of emotion! (Immediately after this photo, Keaton’s dad passed him a hankie, which I thought was a sweet gesture. His entire family was kind-hearted.)
Ten years in the making and they’re officially MARRIED!!! YAY!
I don’t usually include family photos in the blog post, but this one was too cute to not share here! This is Kailee’s brother and his family standing with Keaton’s parents. Kailee and Keaton have been together for so long that his parents were invited to be her niece’s god-parents! How sweet is that?!? Your family knows the two of you will be together forever and accept the other’s family as their own and make it official in their own unique way!
After the ceremony at the church, we headed to Tenroc Ranch’s Blue Heron for the reception.
The bridesmaids wore nude heels for the ceremony and changed into cowboy boots for the party!
Y’all! I absolutely LOVE a fun bridal party and the groomsmen brought their A-game! It was wonderful! They didn’t care for the normal “formal” images, so Keaton had a little fun with his guys and let their true, playful personalities shine through. To all the groomsmen – THANK YOU for being willing to have fun! Y’all’s silliness and lightheartedness made me smile!
Kailee and Keaton’s first dance as man and wife ended with a dip and a kiss!
Toasts were made, but my favorite one was when Kailee’s Maid of Honor took the mic and said “FINALLY!”
Keaton’s dance with his sweet mom was one of the cutest we’ve ever seen! His family is definitely a fun bunch – you can tell you’d just love to hang out with them!
Kailee made Keaton pinky-promise to not cover her with wedding cake. Based on his facial expression, he didn’t love that idea, but kept his promise (at least for the cake he pinky-promised over – the groom’s cake was a whole other ball game).
Kailee and Keaton – thank you for inviting us to document your wedding day! We wish y’all the absolute best!
