Bre and Brett have been dating for almost six years.  If you ask Brett, he can tell you down to the day.  It’s so sweet!  When it was time to propose, Brett surprised Bre with a helicopter ride to the family ranch out in Burnet where they have acreage.  He got down on one knee to ask Bre to be his wife.  She said yes, of course!  During their first look on their wedding day, a helicopter flew over head and they both laughed.  I’m guessing it was a full circle moment that had them thinking about the proposal and everything else leading up to their wedding.  It was a joy to be their 71 West wedding photographer in Spicewood, Texas.

71 West Ranch wedding venue has the cutest bridal cottage!  Some of the bridal party was even able to sleep there the night before.  After Think Brink Beauty had all the bridesmaids ready with hair and makeup, Bre gave them gifts.  Inside each box, the bridesmaids found a handwritten note from Bre, matching earrings, and other cute keepsakes.  Bre has the best heart and you can see it shine through in the personalized notes to everyone on her wedding day and that she hugged each and every bridesmaid after her dress reveal.

Along with her grandmother’s pearl necklace, Bre wore a necklace that has the first initial of her new last name.  The last name she now shares with her forever, Brett.

Once Bre was ready for her wedding, it was time to share a first look with Brett.  They cried together, laughed about the helicopter flying overhead at that exact moment, and shared personal vows with each other.

Spicewood, Texas Wedding Ceremony

The flower girls had the BEST time at Bre and Brett’s 71 West Wedding in Spicewood, Texas!  The skipped down the aisle while waiting for Bre to arrive.  They stole flowers from the ceremony arch and even had some swing time with the bridesmaids.  It was so cute to watch!

When they saw Brett crying as Bre was walking down the aisle, the flower girl gave him a hug and this kind girl brought him a flower to cheer him up!

Bre and Brett cheered and kissed the entire way up the aisle!  There was so much joy in every moment of their 71 West wedding!

Shout out to Bailey and Stacy who referred me to Brett and Bre!  I love this sweet family and am so happy I had the honor of documenting TWO weddings for them!

Once Bre had her dancing shoes on, it was time to get the party started!
