I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Maddie and Greg tied the knot last weekend at Texas Old Town’s Stone Hall in Kyle, TX! Maddie got ready at Greg’s parent’s home with her bridesmaids.
Maddie’s friend designed her wedding heels! How talented and unique is that?!? Also, Greg wrote a love note on each of Maddie’s heels. I love that she wore a reminder of what the day was all about with her, every step of the way.
After Maddie was dressed and ready in her bridal day outfit, the bridesmaids entered the living room and were all shocked by her gorgeousness! She was so beautiful! Look at those bridesmaids’ reactions!
When Maddie arrived at the church just in time for the ceremony, her dad happened to be right outside the doors. The two shared a very teary eyed first look and it is one of my favorite moments from the wedding!
Another favorite part of their day is when their four parents prayed over the newlyweds just before they were announced as man and wife by Greg’s dad, who officiated the ceremony.
I love that they incorporated a part of their love for wine in their boutonnieres! I’ve never seen a wine cork boutonniere, so it was pretty special!
After a quick hair change, we continued their romantic portraits at Stone Hall.
After speeches by the best man and maid of honor, Greg’s brother, who also served as Best Man, serenaded the newlyweds along with Greg’s sister and dad! It was a HUGE hit! They did great!
After the Grand March, Maddie and Greg shared their first dance as husband and wife.
Maddie and Greg made sure to include all the little ones at their wedding by having a candy toss in between the bouquet and garter tosses! I’d say the little ones were quite excited!
The party went well into the night! Friends and family dancing and celebrating with the newlyweds is exactly how weddings should end.
Maddie and Greg, Dylan and I were SO EXCITED to celebrate alongside you both! We loved all your shabby-chic details and the pumpkins used in your wedding decor! We also love that we can share our anniversary week with y’all AND that we got married at the same venue! More than that, we loved seeing your friends and family love on y’all and how excited they were for y’all! Your big day will always be a special one to us! Thank you for including us!
XOXO,
MylahRenae
