I do, too! I tried out over 50 lipsticks so I could recommend the ones that would truly last all day - kiss proof for your big day!

Welcome
It’s pretty easy to guess what my mom wants for Mother’s Day. She wants the same thing every year: photos of her grandkids! This year, we actually gave her pictures of her daughters (silly ones, of course), too, but I think she MUCH preferred the ones of these cuties.
We did some “best friends” photos for the Littles, as we really believe siblings and cousins are your built-in best friends for life.
My sisters let me pick out the prints for our mom (I picked out all the crazy faces and there were a TON of funny faces made by this cute group of kiddos) and this one made the cut!
We, of course, did some family photos for each set AND made sure to get in some “Aunt Myo” family photos, too! Then, I was attacked with kisses and knocked over by my four favorite little people in the world!
This Mother’s Day was the first without our sweet grandma, who helped raise us. She always had the BIGGEST patch of bluebonnets in her yard, so this flower, to us, is more than just “what you do in Texas.” The bluebonnet photos remind us of our grandma, who we all still miss every single day. After her memorial service, we, as a group of grandkids and great-grandkids, did a bluebonnet stomp to ensure her crop of bluebonnets still came up this year. I know she’s not here with us anymore, but do truly believe she would enjoy these next few shots and probably got the biggest kick out of watching us snap these that afternoon from her vantage point in Heaven.
My only request for this photo session was that there be ice cream involved! I thought they would make for cute props, but I was too busy enjoying the afternoon with my niece and nephews to remember to photograph them enjoying it (and I don’t think my sweet tooth has EVER said no to ice cream)! Luckily, my sister picked up the camera to capture these.
I *think* we actually surprised my mom with these this year! She kept asking for them, not knowing we had already taken them. We tried to convince her our schedules didn’t mesh up, but we just wanted to surprise her!
To all you mamas out there, I hope you were spoiled rotten last weekend and had a very Happy Mother’s Day!
