Welcome
Sierra and Andy met on Tinder. It was the first (and last) date for both of them from there. Their very first date had them talking about Cosmos-deep topics. Soon after, Andy crashed Sierra’s girls’ trip to Thailand and the rest is history. The two tied the knot on Saturday at their Umlauf Sculpture Garden wedding.
How GORGEOUS is the back of Sierra’s wedding dress?!?
Sierra and all her girls got ready at her home. I love this reaction to having the finishing touches of her hair pin put in!
Sierra gifted all of her girls a beautiful matching necklace and earring set. Inside each gift bag was also a hand written note from Sierra expressing gratitude of friendship and thankfulness of having each one of these ladies by her side on such an important day. Cue all the tears and all the hugs! Seriously, there are probably more photos of Sierra hugging everyone than anything else! You can tell Sierra truly knows how to love people well and that she makes sure to tell them. She has a heart of gold.
Once Sierra was dressed, her girls got the first peek at her! Their reactions are absolutely priceless!
See what I mean about all the hugs?!?
And all the tears?!?!
I seriously love the back of her wedding dress!
Sierra and Andy opted to include a first look into their wedding day. It was a great chance to get some of those nerves out and to be able to truly and fully react to seeing one another for the first time on their wedding day. There were lots of laughs, tears, hugs, and kisses.
Andy wanted to make sure he got his twirl in for Sierra to see his full outfit, too!
A fun surprise was that the inside of Andy’s jacket was purple paisley, one of their wedding colors.
Sierra wasn’t the only one to hug all the guests and express gratitude. There were just as many hugs from Andy!
Sierra and Andy totally skipped the traditional wedding cake in favor of food truck donuts and it was a HUGE HIT! Guests loved being able to pick their favorite Gourdough’s donut for dessert!
Their first dance as husband and wife was the perfect blend of sweet and fun, as had been the reoccurring theme of their wedding day.
Sierra’s dad shared the sweetest speech and even brought a pair of Sierra’s shoes from when she was little. All the tears!
Andy and Sierra, thank you so much for inviting us to document your Umlauf Sculpture Garden wedding! We loved being a witness to the love and friendships that surrounded y’all on this day, as I’m sure it does most days. Y’all exude joy and gratitude and you can tell it is returned to you tenfold! Y’all have hearts of gold, truly, and it was our joy to celebrate with y’all! Thank you for inviting us into such a special day for y’all’s new life together!
