Trisha and Steve met in a kick-boxing class.  They got paired up together and Steve accidentally kicked Trisha in the face.  It was her first time in class and she wasn’t holding the pads correctly.  She was just fine, but it does make a fun story for how these two met.  Later, Steve found his way to the bar Trisha was working at and the two got engaged 4 years later.  This past Friday, they officially became Mr. and Mrs. during their lavender wedding at Twisted Ranch near Austin, Texas.

Trisha and Steve opted for a first look.  Not only did it allow them to spend more of their wedding day together, but they also had the chance to take bridal party and family photos before the ceremony, so everyone could enjoy their cocktail hour.  At Twisted Ranch, there is so much to do and see, that everyone wants to have a chance to chat with the llama and visit the candy bar and photo booth.

Trisha wore her grandmother’s bracelet on her wedding day.  There may have been a few tears when she showed her grandmother.

Trisha and Steve picked a unique location for their wedding ceremony, that has never been done before at Twisted Ranch.  They got married on the deck of the Little White Chapel with the pond behind them.  We need to give a shout out to the owner of Twisted Ranch, Tricia, who was cutting down parts of her tree the morning of the wedding to make this spot available for their ceremony!  She will do just about anything for her couples!

Cocktail hour was held in the barn and near the pond.  Guests were invited to enjoy specialty drinks and various games.  Trisha and Steve are really a fun couple!  They didn’t tell anyone where they were getting married until the day before the wedding, so all of the animals onsite were a complete surprise to guests!  Of course, the animals were a huge hit!

Trisha and Steve’s Lavender wedding reception was held in the Saloon of Twisted Ranch.

After toasts were made by the Best Man and Matron of Honor, it was time to cut the cake!  If you’ve ever met Trisha and Steve, you’ll know that their fur babies are their babies!  It was expected that their two dogs made appearances at their lavender wedding at Twisted Ranch.  Trisha had large cut outs of the dogs by the groom’s cabin, to spend the day with Steve.  Then, again, their fur babies made an appearance on top of their wedding cake.

Trisha and Steve, thank you for inviting us to document your lavender wedding at Twisted Ranch!  We had so much fun with y’all and loved that y’all made your wedding exactly how you wanted it!  From moving the ceremony site, to surprising guests with the wedding venue, and including your fur babies at your wedding, y’all made your day about you and we love that!
