Welcome
A couple of years ago, on the Saturday before Easter, Eric proposed to Colleen with her family as witnesses. As their normal family tradition, Colleen received an Easter egg basket filled with goodies from her family. Included in the basket was a very special egg with an engagement ring hidden inside, from someone who hoped to one day be a part of Colleen’s family. Although Colleen’s first response to finding the egg was “are you sure?” – Eric was absolutely sure that Colleen was who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He had actually known this for quite some time and had bought an engagement ring for Colleen only a couple of months into their dating relationship. He was sure and so was she. The two were married this past Saturday, the day before Easter, just like their proposal had happened. It was an honor to be their Terrace Club wedding photography team!
Eric gave Colleen a heart bracelet with “Mrs. Herms” engraved on it for their wedding day. Colleen tried her best not to tear up when she read his note, as her make-up was already set.
Colleen’s gift to Eric was a pocket watch with the ceremony start time engraved on the back.
Tied around her beautiful bridal bouquet was Colleen’s mother’s wedding band.
Colleen and Eric welcomed guests upstairs of The Terrace Club to a pink and gold wedding reception. It was GORGEOUS!
How cute are these little ones watching the bride and groom dance their first dance?!?! They treated Colleen like a princess and Eric like a prince! Each one made sure to get a dance with the prince! It was adorable!
Eric’s niece made the newlyweds a sign for their home together. It was so sweet!
This cutie on the right was trying on heels that had been set aside by avid dancers! Cuteness overload!
When Dirty Dancing’s soundtrack song “Time of My Life” came on, there were a ton of littles who wanted to try the lift!
Colleen and Eric, thank you so much for inviting us be your Terrace Club wedding photography team! We had so much fun with y’all and your loved ones! We especially love what an emphasis y’all placed on family! From having your sister be your maid of honor, to sharing a first look with your dad, to making sure those cute nieces felt special on y’all’s day, y’all both made sure to love on your family! All the pretty details were just icing on the cake for us!
