Welcome
Kelsea and Harrison worked out at the same Cross Fit gym. Their coach told Harrison about this girl that attended class at a different time than he did. Harrison looked her up on Facebook and reached out. After their first date, Kelsea told her family that she had met “the one.” Two weeks later, Harrison told his family and friends the same thing. Last year, on the day he was being deployed, Kelsea and Harrison eloped! Exactly one year later, they threw a huge party so their friends and family could celebrate with them! It was a joy to be their Log Country Cove wedding photographer!
After Kelsea dressed the CUTEST flower girl, who wore the most adorable Michael Kors sandals, it was her turn to get dressed. Her mom helped her into the same wedding dress she wore 30 years earlier. The dress was altered into a fun party dress for Kelsea & Harrison’s wedding reception at Log Country Cove.
Kelsea’s parents have the biggest hearts! They both cried when Kelsea was all dolled up for her wedding reception! This daddy-daughter first look is one of my favorites! Pat whispered to Kelsea that he could never let her go and I’m pretty sure everyone in the room cried at that!
Kelsea and Harrison opted for a first look. It’s the best way to get as many photos in before the night’s events so that they could have more time with their friends and family celebrating!
Kelsea’s mother’s wedding dress was made into a beautiful party dress for Kelsea to wear! It was altered by Heather’s Pretty World, who makes Ballet costumes. Of course, we had to get a couple of shots of Kelsea spinning in this beautiful tutu!
In honor of her grandparents, Kelsea wore a family heirloom from each grandmother. The bracelet belonged to her dad’s mother and the pearl necklace belonged to her mom’s mother. The hairpiece that Kelsea wore was originally part of her mother’s wedding dress, too. I loved all the sentimental details they included!
It wouldn’t be an Aggie wedding without Maroon as one of the main wedding colors! It also happens to be one of the beautiful jewel tones that EVERYONE looks great in! I loved that Kelsea let her bridesmaids pick out their own style of dress! That way, each could let their own personality shine through and will wear it again!
The sweetest flower girl who would give you the BIGGEST smile if you called her a pretty girl!
After cocktail hour, guests were invited inside Log Country Cove’s wedding reception barn, Cedar Skies. It was maroon and cream with blush accents.
My favorite reception detail was this wine stand that greeted guests as they entered!
After they were announced into their Log Country Cove Wedding reception, the video of their elopement ceremony was played for guests. Then, as the video pronounced them husband and wife, Kelsea and Harrison reenacted their first kiss. The whole room cheered for them!
This is the Matron of Honor’s mother holding her daughter. Her daughter kept saying “Good job, Mommy!” as she said her speech! It was adorable!
Kelsea and Harrison – thank you for inviting us to photograph your elopement ceremony last year and for asking us to be your Log Country Cove wedding photographer this year! For years, your family has been such great friends and it was a joy to celebrate with y’all! We love you!
