Eight years ago, almost to the day, Jackie and Ben met.  They were both sophomores in high school and competing in a shotgun tournament.  They went their separate ways, but he made sure to call her every two months for the next  5 years.  On her 21st birthday, he invited her to spend the weekend in Corpus and she agreed.  They started dating soon after and became husband and wife on Saturday.  It was a joy to be their Happy H Ranch Wedding Photographer.

Jackie gifted all of her wonderful bridesmaids (We seriously LOVED this group of ladies – they are definitely one of our favorite bridal parties!) a basket of goodies that included a personalized wine glass and bottle of wine. They cheers-ed to Jackie and her new marriage before getting ready for the ceremony.

Once Jackie’s bridesmaids made sure she was perfect, her dad got the first peek at the bride!  Jackie was crying as soon as she knew it was time to have her daddy-daughter first look!  It was pretty sweet and you can tell this entire family absolutely adores each other!

One of the sweetest things during their ceremony is when their pastor got choked up talking about his own marriage.  He was talking about soon celebrating 60 years of marriage with his own wife and remembering their wedding day.

After their wedding ceremony in Comfort, Texas, everyone headed back to Happy H Ranch for the party!

As Aggies, Jackie and Ben made sure to include maroon as one of their wedding colors!
