Just before graduating from Texas State University, Mariah decided to have senior portraits taken.  At the photo session, her high school sweetheart of 7 years decided to surprise her.  Austin got down on one knee and asked Mariah to spend the rest of their lives together.  She said yes and the two are planning a winter wedding next month.  Here’s a peek at their Laguna Gloria engagement photos that we shot last week.

Can I brag on these two for a minute?  All of the images taken on this blog post were shot within 20 minutes at one location!  They are such pros in front of the camera!  (What happened to the other half of their engagement session?  It’s coming in part 2!  They did some super cute at-home Christmas baking photos that deserve their very own post!)

Mariah decided to include her wedding bands in their Laguna Gloria engagement photos.  I love that she has stacking bands of various metals.  It’s a beautiful set!

I loved Mariah’s green pleated dress!  The bow in the back was my favorite detail!

Fun Fact: One of our past brides (Hi, Alura!!!) texted me as I was on my way home from Austin and Mariah’s Laguna Gloria engagement photos.  She said that I had just photographed one of her co-workers’ engagement session!  Small world, right?
