Emily and Logan both love Jesus.  If you spend any amount of time with either of them, you’ll learn that their joy comes from their hope in Him.  To start this post any other way would be doing them both a disservice.  They met because they were both chasing after GOD’s will.  Through church events, they crossed paths three times a week.  On the morning of their wedding, they started their day by studying the Bible and praying together before doing anything else.  As the sun rose over the Texas Hill Country, Emily and Logan read from GOD’s inspired word and asked for HIS guidance over their marriage.  It’s the absolute BEST way to start a marriage: seeking GOD’s will together.  Their love for Christ was evident throughout their wedding day.  I’m so honored to have been their Alexander at Creek Road wedding photographer!  Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from their Christ-centered day.

Emily shared a first look with her dad and he may have been crying as soon as he stepped into the bridal suite.  This family is such a close-knit family and it was such a blessing to watch them interact with each other.  The very first thing Emily’s dad did after seeing his baby girl as a bride was to say a prayer over her and her new marriage to Logan.

Praise and worship music was being played as guests took their seats for the wedding ceremony.

Emily and Logan wanted to make sure their love for Christ was evident in their wedding ceremony, as well.  It was so powerful to see all of their wedding guests pray over them as they vowed forever to each other.

They’re officially married!!!

After their engagement session, I asked Emily and Logan what their favorite image from our time together was.  She emailed me back the SWEETEST explanation.  While I won’t share her full response, she did end it by saying: “I realize that may not be what you expected in a favorite photo explanation, but it’s so cool to see how God can use every facet, like photography, to point us back to Him!”  These two look for GOD’s goodness every chance they get.

Since they had a morning wedding ceremony and brunch was being served, they included a coffee bar.  Guests could order their favorite caffeinated beverage to enjoy with their chicken and waffles, omelets, french toast, prime rib, or breakfast tacos!  If I could give an award for best wedding food, this would be the one to win!

In true Em & Logs form, they incorporated Scripture throughout their wedding decor, as well.

I love how the greenery brought the outdoors in!  The mirror wall and chandeliers were even given some greenery love!

There were so many happy tears during toasts!  Emily and Logan are so loved by their family and that was completely evident by the toasts given.  Toasts were transformed into prayers, as well.  One of my favorite parts was when Logan’s brother said that he loved the Christ that was living in Logan.
