Lauren and Arthur are high school sweethearts.  They were both on the same swim team.  After practice, Arthur would drive Lauren home, since they lived pretty close to each other.  Over the weeks and months of spending daily time together, the two formed a connection.  Over an Ihop table one day, Arthur asked Lauren to go to prom with him.  She said yes and the two started dating soon after.  They’re now engaged to be married and will become husband and wife next year.  I had the honor of taking their Bull Creek engagement photos on Monday, just before Lauren starts her residency in Ohio.  Here’s a peek at some of my favorites!

Since Lauren and Arthur met through swimming, it only felt right to include some engagement photos with the water behind them.

When I asked these two to let me photograph them between the parking lot and the busy Capital of Texas Highway, they didn’t even hesitate!  They simply said “we trust you” and these images with the sunflowers is what we got!  I’m so thankful that I get to work with such trusting and beautiful couples!

Lauren and Arthur – thank you so much for meeting me on Monday for your Bull Creek engagement photos!  I’m so impressed that y’all made time for these between both of y’all’s residencies!  I’m so excited for y’all’s Fall wedding next year!
