I first met Laura in 2016, when she was the Maid of Honor for one of our sweet Twisted Ranch couples.  When she got engaged, she emailed me to see what dates we still had available before booking her wedding venue!  *jaw dropped*  It is SUCH an honor that she and Nick made photography such a big priority in their wedding day and I’m so glad we’ll be the ones to document their special day next June!  Here’s a peek at some of my favorite images from their McKinney Falls engagement session last week!

When I first met with Laura and Nick to chat about their wedding, Laura shared about their beloved fur-baby, Starla.  (Laura may have even gotten a bit tear-y eyed talking about their four-legged daughter and I knew in that moment that we were kindred spirits!)  They brought sweet Starla to their McKinney Falls engagement session and I loved that!  Starla is definitely chatty and a full-body tail wagger and super sweet!  To make sure she was well taken care of, Nick’s brother and his wife took her home after her portrait time, so she could have a play date with their dog.

Starla’s sign says “My humans are getting married!”  How cute is that?!?

The temperature gage on my dashboard read 104 degrees AFTER we wrapped up their McKinney Falls engagement session and I was heading home.  It was pretty hot, but these two were CHAMPS!  I’m so proud of them for sticking it out despite the heat!  Not everyone can pull off being this cute in July in Texas.
