One of the first decisions couples have to make regarding their engagement session is where they should take place. Amy and Wes are getting married this Winter and wanted their engagement photos to have a wintery vibe.  Since their engagement session would be happening during the Summer months, they booked Woodbine Mansion in Round Rock.  It has a ton of natural light and cream walls to give them the wintery feel they were hoping for!  Here’s a peek at my favorites of their Woodbine Mansion engagement photos!

Amy’s beautiful dress color is one of their wedding colors!  The wine color is perfect for a winter wedding.  I can’t wait to see how they use their Woodbine Mansion engagement photos on their wedding day!

These two have a stunning gallery!  Not only do they have enough images for a full gallery in their first outfit, they have enough images for a full gallery inside with their second outfit.  Then, we went outside!  We saved the outdoor photos for last since it was over 100 degrees when we took their engagement photos in Round Rock at Woodbine Mansion.  Whew!  But these two were pros and looked great!

I’m so thankful these two didn’t think twice when I suggested we shoot behind the mansion!  Most people assume that the front of the mansion is best.  While it is so gorgeous, the light determines how great the photos are and the light behind the mansion during their session was PERFECT!  I’m very grateful they trusted me on this spot!  These are some of my favorites!

Amy and Wes – thank you so much for meeting me last week for your engagement session at Woodbine Mansion!  Y’all were such champs for braving the heat and made it look easy!  I’m so excited to celebrate y’all this winter as y’all become husband and wife!
