Welcome
On Christmas morning of 2012, Kayla woke up to a sweet poem written by her then-boyfriend, Trent. It said something along the lines of a special treat awaited her. It could be on the tree or on their dog, Lucy. Well, Kayla put up three Christmas trees that year and got to work looking for her Christmas present. When she finally realized that she should look behind the Christmas tree ornament that the two of them made that year (the make one every year), she realized that, at some point, Trent had snuck the ornament out and had engraved on the back, with his wood burning kit, “Will you marry me?” She said yes and found her new engagement ring on the collar of Lucy.
This past Saturday, on their dating anniversary, Trent and Kayla said “I do.”
They got married in Cuero, TX, at The Venue on Church Street.
The bouquets were arranged by Isn’t That Gorgeous!
To make sure the best man didn’t forget the wedding ring, he was required to wear it!
Although Kayla and Trent opted out of a Frist Look, they were able to take a photo together before the ceremony without seeing one another!
In the middle of the ceremony, Trent and Kayla’s parents were asked if they would do everything in their power to support the new marriage! This was such a sweet idea and I adore that their families are so supportive!
Yes, Kayla was giving high-fives as she walked back down the aisle, as Mrs. Kainer!
For anyone who has ever had little ones in the bridal party, you can probably relate! So, of course, I had to get a close up!
As a wedding gift, Trent gave his beautiful bride this sweet necklace!
This is how The Venue on Church Street was set up for their wedding day!
The cake was made by Mallory’s Bakehouse!
After their grand exit, Kayla’s “House Party” requested these next two shots! Although I’ve never done paint by light before, I think they turned out pretty good! Thanks for asking, ladies!
Trent and Kayla, I wish yall absolutely nothing but the best in life! May GOD bless yall in your new walk as husband and wife!
Lots of love,
Mylah Renae
