Felicia jokes that it took a life-threatening situation for Nick to realize it was time to propose.  He was paddle-boarding at the lake when a storm rolled in.  Too far from shore and a storm too strong to paddle against, he was missing for hours.  When search and rescue found him (or he found them, as Nick likes to joke), it made Nick realize that life was short.  It was time to propose to the love of his life and officially make her his wife.  So, he did and she said yes.  The two were married at Lone Oak Barn in November and it was my joy to be their Round Rock wedding photographer!

Felicia’s bridal robe was so pretty!  I had to do a double take when I walked into the bridal suite because I thought she was already in her wedding dress!

Felicia and Nick wanted their Round Rock wedding to be kept simple, so they decided to skip the formal wedding party.  Instead, they each had one family member stand with them at the altar and invited their VIPS to get ready with them.  No worrying about picking out dresses or ordering extra bouquets or skipping cocktail hour for photos.  They just wanted them to come and enjoy the day and be present in the moment.  It was wonderful!

Felicia and Nick opted to include a first look on their wedding day.  It’s a great opportunity to get those wedding day jitters out, spend time with your favorite person, and get all the photos they could ever want without making guests wait on them for dinner.  It’s a win-win-win!

It was a bit chilly on their wedding day, so Nick and Felicia hosted their Round Rock wedding inside Lone Oak Barn.  Wild Poppy Florist had stunning blooms literally from floor to ceiling.

Those just married vibes are always my favorite!!

Lone Oak Barn Wedding Reception

Oliver, their cat, made an appearance with his own signature drink at cocktail hour.  The cocktail was in their wedding colors, of course!

Nick and Felicia went straight into their first dance after being announced into their reception as husband and wife!  There were lots of spins and I’m here for it!

After the tears of the toasts and special parent dances, it was time to get the party started!  Premier Entertainment did an awesome job!

Shout out to Paul and Aislyn!!  I photographed their wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown in 2020 and they referred me to Felicia and Nick!  Thank you so much for telling your friends about me!
