Codie and Matthew met their freshman year of college.  They were friends for six years before Matthew started calling Codie his girlfriend.  While camping in Big Bend, Matthew once again changed their relationship status.  He asked Codie to be his wife and she said yes!  The two met me yesterday at their wedding venue, Walden Retreats, for their engagement photos in Johnson City.  Here is a peek at some of my favorites from their Walden Retreats wedding engagement photos!

Walden Retreats is a glamping site and wedding venue.  It’s perfect for these two who share a love of the Outdoors!  They were even able to bring their fur babies, Norah & Stella!  I love that Codie even put them in matching bows!

Codie texted me to say:

“Just showed him the photos and he said “Wow!! These look so good and professional, and WE look so good. Ok. I understand why we needed Mylah now!!!” This is also after he raved yesterday how great you were and how you really helped him feel more confident in front of the camera 🤍 So seriously, thank you so much. I’m so happy he actually had fun being out of his element and you made the experience so great for the both of us!”

I’m obsessed with Codie’s earrings!  They’re real orchids!  Even her Betsy Johnson Bridal heels matched her dress, earrings, and engagement ring so perfectly!
