Cassidy & Reid met at a pool party in Arlington, Texas.  Conversation was easy since they shared the same sense of humor.  She lived in Austin, though.  Every time Cassidy was visiting friends near Dallas, Reid always made time to see her.  Their friendship grew into something more and Cassidy soon found herself moving to Fort Worth.  They’ve been dating for three years and were married two weeks ago.  It was such a joy and honor to be their Canyonwood Ridge wedding photographer. Here’s a small peek into their June wedding in Dripping Springs.

Cassidy walked down the aisle to Reid while “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was being played.  It was a cute addition to the wedding layflat details.

Cassidy shared a first look with her dad, then bridesmaids.

After sharing those first looks, it was time for Cassidy and Reid to share their own first look.  They were able to get some of those wedding day jitters out by seeing the one person who makes them feel the most at peace.  Another bonus was that we got to take a ton of their wedding day photos before the ceremony.  That means they were able to enjoy their own cocktail hour.

Cassidy and Reid also shared personal vows with each other during their first look.

Canyonwood Ridge is one of my favorite wedding venues!  All locations are near each other and there is a ton of natural light!  Summer weddings can be warm, but this indoor ceremony site at Canyonwood Ridge is perfect!  It has the beautiful nature views while still being air conditioned.

They’re married!

Photographing weddings at Canyonwood Ridge is always stunning!  Every space is beautiful, but this golden hour light with the oak trees in the background has my heart!
