Welcome
When the bluebonnets just started blooming, my sisters and I met up for our annual bluebonnet photos of my niece and nephews. The day before had been a beautiful, sunny day of seventy-something degrees – a perfect spring day. The morning of the photos, it was forty-something degrees and SUPER windy. There was still an attempt made for quality family portraits of the little ones (yes, they were still bundled up with jackets and blankets even when being photographed), but… nothing (and I do mean NOTHING) turned out from that session (and I was reminded, once again, of why I don’t concentrate my photography business on little kids).
Fast-forward two weeks and the bluebonnets were MUCH prettier and the weather was perfect! This is their BEST session yet and I’m so proud of each and every one of these little guys for doing such an AWESOME job during their photo session!
I told D to show me his teeth… and I got a tongue stuck out of me. Whatever works. Just go with it. It’s still Cute!
I also learned that if I just hold their shirts with my left hand, I can still photograph them with my right hand holding the camera without them running away! WIN!
This is Sully’s sexy pose! HAHAHA! Also, to get him to look at the camera, I asked him to count my teeth… Then, I said to count my teeth without using his hand. It worked!
When I first saw this photo, the VERY first caption that came to mind … is inappropriate for some viewers, so I’ll let you think of your own!
Me and my munchkins! (Little-known fact: Yes, I do wear glasses.)
Sully’s shot on the left was COMPLETELY unposed. Really. I was SO thankful that it was in-focus when I saw it at home because I, literally, just dropped my camera to my knee when I saw him lying in the bluebonnets JUST LIKE THIS and took a shot. WIN!COUSIN PILE!!!!
I could not have asked for a better session with these cuties and am so glad I can finally share these images!
