Most of my brides are currently opting to have bridal sessions and I LOVE IT!!!!  I just get giddy about seeing the dress, truly! I remember picking out my own wedding dress and get excited for my brides to realize that “it’s real!”  There is something about putting on your wedding dress and the viel, holding the bouquet, and seeing your mom’s face when you’re “all put together.”  It makes you REALLY feel like a bride and it FINALLY sinks in that this is really happening.  You’re really getting married and the wedding is just a few weeks away.

A few months ago, Sarah and Toby tied the knot and so sweetly let me be their Winfield Inn Wedding Photographer.  Since the dress has already been revealed, I can FINALLY share Sarah’s bridal session images.  One of the things I loved most about Sarah’s bridal session is that her mom and now-mother-in-law both came to the session with her.  Her mother-in-law’s face when she saw Sarah in her wedding dress was priceless.  You could tell she was someone who felt truly lucky to be adding another member to her family and wanted to celebrate Toby’s decision to add Sarah as his wife.  It was sweet.  

One of the many perks to having a bridal session is that you can get a mock bouquet from your florist so that any changes that need to be made can be discussed and implemented before the big day.  

Another benefit of having a bridal session is that you can see how your wedding day hair and make-up will photograph before your wedding.  This allows you to make any changes before you’re strapped for time on your wedding day.

I love that the chandelier over the main aisle at Winfield Inn looks like a Halo over Sarah!

Sarah bought her very first pair of Jimmy Choos for her wedding!!  Great Choice!!!  

While bridal sessions are not included in my normal wedding photography package, I do LOVE when brides opt for this session!  I think their moms love it, too!
