I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Now that Haley and Drew have officially tied the knot (you can find their Montesino Ranch Wedding Photographs on the blog here), I can FINALLY share her bridal portrait session. Holding on to bridal session images is one of the hardest things for me to do as a Texas Hill Country wedding photographer. Seriously, when such beautiful images come off the camera like Haley’s bridal session in Wimberley, I just want to share them – immediately! Nevertheless, I keep them super top secret until after the wedding so that the groom won’t see the bride’s beautiful wedding dress before she walks down the aisle (or during the first look – whichever the couple has opted for). Here’s a peek in to what we were able to capture during Haley’s Montesino Ranch Bridal Photography Session:
Her friend just threw this bouquet together for her bridal session! How neat is that!
The image on the left is the one Haley chose to display at her barn wedding reception at the Organic Farm and Ranch venue.
Haley really loved the dusty blue spiral staircase that accesses the groom’s quarters at Montesino Ranch. This is another shot she used at the wedding reception.
The horse that was so super friendly (or just wanted to photobomb)!
I just LOVE Haley’s dress! I feel like it really reflects the vintage glam, rustic theme she had AND the fact that she wore cowboy boots under her wedding dress! It’s so appropriate when you get married in the beautiful Texas Hill Country!
One of Haley’s favorite things about Montesino Ranch is all the fun vintage chairs that they have there for receptions. For her bridal session, she brought her own vintage chair!
Haley’s now husband, Drew, really loves Ray Bans! So, she sported these fun sunglasses just for him! I also love that she paired a pink cardigan with her dress! It was a great way to tie in one of her wedding colors!
The old turquoise Ford truck is what escorted Haley and her father up to the ceremony site before making their way down the aisle.
Haley’s dad is a firefighter and her husband is currently in the Fire Academy. In honor of them both, Haley added some of their gear to her bridal gown. On her wedding day, Haley gave her dad these bridal images as a surprise and it was one of the sweetest moments from their wedding! Haley – I had so much fun at your bridal session and am so excited that I can FINALLY share your gorgeous images! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding journey and allowing me to document such a special moment in time for you and Drew!
