Brian met Courtney in college.  The two became fast friends, but knew there was something more than friendship.  They started dating and 6 years later, Brian asked Courtney’s entire family for their blessing to marry their baby girl.  The whole family said yes and shortly after, Courtney did, too.  Courtney and Brian tied the knot on Saturday and it was a joy to be their Addison Grove wedding photographer.

Courtney’s mom held her hand over her heart, as Courtney checked the final touches of her hair and make-up.  Courtney’s sweet mama, Sandra, was diagnosed with Leukemia and didn’t think she’d get to see her baby girl walk down the aisle.  In this moment, the joy and gratitude to be standing where she was swept the room and there wasn’t a dry eye present.  She knew it was a blessing to witness this day and made sure to say so.  Sandra kicked Leukemia’s butt and is a freakin’ ROCK STAR SURVIVOR!

Courtney had the cutest little gift baskets for all her girls.  There were earrings and an adorable personalized photo album, specific for each bridesmaid.  It was a sentimental touch that got a few giggles as they relived their relationship through the years with Courtney.

After a quick champaign toast with her girls, it was time to get Courtney in her wedding dress!

Courtney had a handkerchief embroidered for her parents to “dry the happy tears.”

After reading her letter from Brian, the bridesmaids got their first peek at Courtney in her wedding dress!

Brian was giving fist-bumps as they walked back up the aisle!

This was a good lookin’ bridal party!

The wedding guests were treated to their own, personal mini-pie as the wedding favor (fork included)!
