Nope! Although, most of my clients are brides looking for the BEST wedding gift (I promise – he’ll LOVE it!)!  Boudoir is for anyone who wants to feel fabulous in their own skin. Whether you’re celebrating your wedding in Austin, a milestone, or just because, this Austin boudoir photographer will make sure it’s your moment to shine!

3. Do I need a “perfect” body for this?

Let me stop you right there—perfection is totally overrated. Boudoir photography is for every body, every curve, and every smile. I know exactly how to highlight what makes you uniquely beautiful.

4. What should I wear?

Oh, the fun part! Think lingerie that makes you feel like a million bucks.  My favorite piece is a lace teddy!  Yes, no clothes is an option, but you’ll be artfully pretzeled to cover anything you want.  Whatever makes you feel fabulous, bring it to your Austin boudoir session!  If you’re looking for a size-inclusive lingerie store in Austin, my favorite is Petticoat Fair.  They’ll make sure you’re properly sized.

5. Will these photos be just for me?

Totally! Your photos are kept private unless you say otherwise. You have the option to share nothing at all, only certain images that you specify, or images that don’t identify you (like this image below).

6. How do I get ready for this?

Pamper yourself! You’ll have an appointment with the best hair and makeup team, pick out your fave 3-4 outfits, and come well-rested and well-hydrated. Pro tip: avoid tight clothes before your Austin boudoir session to keep your skin smooth and mark-free.

7. What if I have no idea how to pose?

That’s what I’m there for! I’ll guide you through every pose, making sure you feel comfortable and look stunning. No experience necessary—just bring yourself (and maybe your favorite mood-boosting playlist)!

8. Is retouching included?

Yes, ma’am! I include a bit of retouching to smooth out skin and remove any blemishes. We’ll chat about how much or little you’d like to keep things real/retouched.  I’ll pose you to look your best, so you won’t need as much as you think.

9. How long is this photoshoot?

It usually takes between 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on how many outfits you’ve got and how many “yasss queen” moments you want to capture at your boudoir session in Austin.

10. Can I bring a friend?

This one is totally up to you!  It may feel weird meeting a stranger (then taking your clothes off), so if you’d feel more supported with a girlfriend (non-romantic) there, do it!  If you think it could feel weird having your bestie in the room while you crawl around in lingerie, maybe don’t invite her.  It’s 100% your call.
