Welcome
It has been an absolutely CRAZY week here. On Monday, I was all set to tackle the to-do list, so I wouldn’t have to rush anything before the weekend – when Dylan and I plan on spending quality time with friends and family AND to photograph a shoot I’ve been DYING to shoot for a while now. Well, our little Lola had other plans…
Instead of being productive on Monday, we had an emergency vet visit with instructions to not let her out of our site for the next 48 hours. She was really sick and started throwing up everything – even when she had nothing left in her little tummy. :( It broke my heart. The best guess is that she had an allergic reaction to a bee/wasp/scorpion sting, as the left side of her face was also swollen.
We had to cut back her food, water, and play time. She didn’t mind too much, as she had very little energy to do anything except sleep. (To put it into perspective – she didn’t even try to get the vet when he gave her 3 shots…) We even let her sleep in bed with us that night (I know what you’re thinking “you let your great dane sleep in bed with you!!!”, but she is our little baby!!! Who doesn’t let their kids sleep in bed with them when they’re sick?!?).
Tuesday, I tagged along to help a friend at one of her shoots and that night we had a meeting for the Austin Bridal Extravaganza! Speaking of the show, I’m about up to my ears with supplies for making the show hand-out, ordering the last few prints, making frames, and other things needed for the booth. One of the items that just came in is my new SAMPLE ALBUM!!!! YAY! I’m so excited with the way it turned out and want to share that with yall today – especially my brides who book me online and haven’t gotten a chance to see one of the sample albums before.
All albums come with a chevron dust-cover to protect clients’ wedding album.
The pages are printed on a solid piece of paper, which means there is no cut or “gutter” down the center of the book! This is great because you can print a full, 2-page spread without worrying about it looking inconsistent. All pages lay flat, as well.
Another bonus is that the pages are THICK! Like, thicker than the edge of a quarter. Translation: It is harder to tear or bend these pages, so they last longer!
All books are genuine leather, which you can smell, literally! There are 17 different colors you can choose from, so most wedding colors are available, if you want your album to coordinate.
The covers are slightly padded and the corners are round. You also have the option to engrave the book, if you’d like to include your name and/or wedding date. Each book is delivered with instructions for caring for it, too (unlike Lola puppies).
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend,
Mylah Renae
