Danielle and Luis met while playing volleyball at The University of Houston.  After he asked to play with her team, she got a lesson on his skateboard.  They didn’t start dating then, but continued to play volleyball together.  It’s something that they still love to this day.  Over time, their friendship grew into something more. When it was time to propose, Luis knew that he had to somehow include Danielle’s family, since they are so important to her. During the family egg hunt on Easter, Luis asked Danielle to be his wife.  Of course, she said yes and the two are planning a wedding next Spring.  Here is a peek at some of my favorites from their Austin Yacht Club engagement photos.

Danielle and Luis brought their fur babies!  Four legged children are part of the family, so should absolutely be included! Gordo, the one on the right, even had his very own dress up moment with a black tie!

When it was time to pick a location for their engagement photos, Danielle’s mom mentioned the Austin Yacht Club as an option.  It’s where Danielle spent some of her school years and a place she still enjoys spending the afternoon to unwind. She and Luis really wanted a summer engagement and I can’t think of a better place than the lake!  It’s even more special because they’re hosting their wedding reception on this same lake, Lake Travis, at Lakeway Resort and Spa.
