Kristen and Garrett have a super cute beginning to their love story: their sweet grandmothers, who have been traveling buddies for years, introduced their grandchildren to each other in hopes that they may one day be family.  Well, that is just what will happen for the grandmothers when they walk down the aisle as Kristen and Garrett’s flower girls during their summer wedding at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas.  Kristen and Garrett are currently living in different cities as they finish their college education at different schools.  With such limited time with studying and having to travel to Austin, TX for their shoot, they knew that Spring Break would be their best chance to have everyone’s schedule align for their engagement session.  As luck would have it, last Friday was the end of her spring break, the beginning of his, and the first day Austin has seen sunlight in weeks!

It was so nice to finally have warmer weather to shoot in AND to see the start of SPRING!

Plum is going to be one of their wedding colors!

After a friendly water fight, the two walked hand in hand across river.Kristen and Garrett, thank you for spending part of your brief spring break weekend together with me!  I had fun with y’all and love that you were both open to being playful in front of the camera!  I know we’re going to have just as much fun, if not more, at your wedding this summer at Camp Lucy!
