Welcome
Kelsey and Sam met their freshman year in college. They lived on the same floor and their group of roommates became fast friends. Two years later, Sam decided he wanted something more than friendship with Kelsey. He asked her to a Greek party and she said yes. They’ve been together for 5 years since and are tying the knot next Fall. Having lived in different parts of the US while dating, they wanted their engagement session to take place where they currently reside in Austin, Texas. Here is a peek at their Bull Creek Park engagement photos!
I love that they brought champagne and toasting flutes for their Bull Creek Park engagement photos! It made for a fun prop! The one with them popping the cork is one of my favorite shots!
When it was time to propose, Sam completely surprised Kelsey! After getting a peek at her Pinterest board for ring ideas, the two headed to a friend’s place in California, where the two used to live. As the group of friends were taking photos on the beach, Sam got down on one knee to ask Kelsey to be his wife. Kelsey was so surprised and emotional that Sam wasn’t able to finish the words he had wanted to say. After she said yes, Kelsey looked up to find not only their friends, but their families, as well! Sam did a great job with the proposal!
Since they’re getting married in the Fall, they wanted their engagement photos to have the same Fall feel. We planned to take these a few weeks ago, but the weather was supposed to be rainy and cold. Turns out, it snowed the next day here in Austin, Texas. Needless to say, I’m glad we rescheduled! The second session date was beautiful weather and had all the gorgeous tones of Autumn! We could not have asked for a better day to shoot their Bull Creek Park engagement photos!
These two were seriously so smiley! Their joy was contagious!
Kelsey and Sam – thank you so much for allowing me to take your Bull Creek Park engagement photos! I had so much fun with y’all! It was an absolute joy to document this special season in your life together! Congratulations, again!
