Welcome
Last May, I received an email from Renae that said “I have a funny feeling that I may get engaged this summer.” Well, her instinct was right and Ronnie popped the question while she was visiting home in Austin. Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t allow us to meet up for engagement photos while she was in town during that visit. So, we coordinated to shoot their engagement photos around the time she would be back for Christmas. We met at Longhorn Cavern State Park earlier this week and got these:
This is one of my favorites! GORGEOUS, Renae!
One thing that I always encourage my clients to do is to choose an engagement location that is personal to them and their love story together. Not only does it help them to relax, being in an environment that they’re already comfortable in, it will be a reminder in years to come of the love they shared while they were dating and things they liked to do together. Ronnie and Renae chose to wrap up their engagement session at a friend’s lake-house. This just so happens to be VERY significant to their love story as it is where she had a party on the day that the two started dating “officially” and the same day that he told her he loved her. I’d say that this is a pretty special spot for them…
Another thing that can really personalize engagement photos is to bring props. For Ronnie and Renae’s first date, the two met at Bass Pro Shop in San Antonio. With this in mind, and the fact that they ended their first day of being “official” with fishing, the two brought along some fishing gear and ended the session in a way they would spend an actual date: fishing. Ronnie and Renae, THANK YOU so much for spending part of your time together with me. I am so thankful that y’all chose me to document such a fun time in your lives and wish y’all the absolute best in life.
