Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of attending a Wedding Planner’s Retreat at Events at the Pointe. While I couldn’t stay the night, I was able to eat dinner with lots of friendly wedding vendors who came together to tour a new Canyon Lake wedding venue.
Events at the Pointe offers 7 beautiful acres of lakeside views from Friday afternoon all the way to Sunday morning for 60 plus overnight guests and wedding party members in their beautiful cathedral cabins. They also include an onsite property manager, an indoor back-up space should your outdoor ceremony or reception site be rained out, tables and chairs for up to 120 guests, professional day-of coordination for your wedding day, rehearsal site, and bridal and/or engagement session times. All of this for LESS THAN $10,000. That, right there, blows my mind! If you’ve done any research at all about wedding venues, you’ll know that most of them start around $5,000 for one day and that does not include any lodging and you may not even be able to use the space for a rehearsal if they’re booked the night before. This Canyon Lake Wedding Venue gives you almost three days usage of the property and two full overnight stays for 60 plus guests (they actually have room for about 140, should you choose to use it). This is a crazy-good deal!
Beyond all those amenities, Events at the Pointe overlooks Canyon Lake and is only 1.5 hours away from downtown Austin. It also has the most precious deer, who are spoiled on being hand-fed! The shoot that I did there literally had me giddy because of the beautiful view and the friendly deer. The dinner hosted at Events at the Pointe was my first official invitation to a “wedding planner’s retreat,” so I jumped at the opportunity to meet more industry peers. Being designed by and intended for industry-leading wedding planners in Austin, TX, the decorations did not disappoint and I am SO GLAD that I had my camera! Here is a sneak peek at the goodness that was had that night:
The oh-so-scrumptious dinner was generously provided by Southern’s Fine Dining! Yum-o!
The party rentals were provided by Premiere Party Central.
This dinner was designed and executed by Yellow Umbrella Events.
The gorgeous flowers that afternoon were arranged by The Flower Studio.
After dinner, we decided to feed the deer! This is the cuteness that surrounded us as we enjoyed dessert provided by Simon Lee Bakery!
