Welcome
Haley and Scott have a unique love story. They’ve known each other for years, as their fathers worked together. The two stayed in touch throughout the years and reconnected in college. During their senior year in college, Scott was interviewing for med school and one of those happened to be where Haley was attending. He turned his one day interview into a 5 day weekend with Haley in New York. Two and a half years later, Scott asked Haley to be his wife! The two now live in New York and Central Park is one of Scott’s favorite places in all New York. Wanting to show off where their love story started, we headed to New York for their engagement session. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from their Central Park engagement photos in New York.
Haley and Scott both ran the New York City Marathon the day before their Central Park Engagement Photos. I have no idea how they were both walking around and up the stairs (and in heels for Haley) less than 24 hours after the marathon. They’re both such champs!
I was giddy that we had all of Bethesda Fountain to ourselves for their Central Park engagement photos!
All of the color in the Fall foliage in New York was stunning this time of year! We had such perfect weather, too!
Bethesda Fountain and Terrace was such a playground for me! I could have taken their Central Park Engagement Photos only here all day and been so happy getting a million different angles, but I knew that Scott and Haley wanted to include some other locations in our time together.
It wouldn’t be a New York engagement without a taxi and getting honked at in the road, so we moved into the city to make it happen!
After their Central Park engagement session at sunrise, Scott and Haley made sure we had an authentic NYC breakfast and bought us schmeared bagels. It was a fun experience and the best way to end their session!
Haley and Scott – thank you so much for showing us around y’all’s town and giving us a reason to visit New York! We had so much fun with y’all and can’t wait to celebrate y’all fully in Texas!
