Welcome
It was a HUGE compliment when I got an email from this sweet family requesting a second photography session! I had so much fun with them the first time around that I could hardly wait for their second one! We set the date several months ago and I was so excited to see little Addie again! She was SO SUPER sweet at the first session and had… exactly the same demeanor. Addie is so precious and very kind-hearted. Honestly, she may be the only 5 year old I know that I wouldn’t be terrified to babysit. Heck, I may even volunteer! We met at her grandparents’ home and she immediately started telling me about her favorite movie: “Frozen” – I HAVE to go see that movie! It sounds so fun (and I usually prefer little kid movies, anyway, especially if there is great singing) and comes HIGHLY recommended by a good source!
Apparently, Addie thinks I’m funny! :D
For the record, I do think that every family should revolve around the parents’ love for each other. If not for that, there would be no kiddos! So, I always do a few romantic portraits of just mom and dad!
Addie wanted to show me her “beautiful pose!” She totally rocked it! :D
Addie also wanted to “try these shots” with her dad! Can you tell mom loves photography?
Besides picking a personal location to their family (at his parents’ home, where they spend weekends at), this blanket was made by Ray’s grandmother. I love when clients bring personal elements/props to their session to make sure the photos are special to them and their love story.
These next two shots are my favorites from their session!
Priscilla, you are beautiful. I ADORE this shot of you loving on your baby!
To wrap up the session, I asked them to have fun. I think it is SO important for anyone having their photos taken to ACTUALLY have fun and enjoy their time in front of the camera. It adds to the experience and brings true, genuine smiles.
The family had a race and Addie’s scooter helped her secure FIRST PLACE! YAY!
Addie tried to teach her mom how to ride her scooter….
Ray, Priscilla, and Addie – THANK YOU so much for inviting me into another super fun afternoon with y’all! I thoroughly enjoyed my time and hope y’all had as much fun as I did!
