Taylor and Joshua were both attending West Point when they met.  Their love of fencing is what made their paths cross and the two soon became friends.  Their friendship grew into something more and the two are now married!  Since they’ll both be stationed in Texas, that is where they decided to tie the knot.  It was a joy to photograph their CW Hill Country Ranch wedding!

Since most of the wedding party comes from a military background, their entire CW Hill Country Ranch wedding was on-time!  Actually, it probably ran half an hour early and I LOVED THAT!!

Their CW Hill Country Ranch wedding colors were light green, white and brown.  That just so happens to be the main aesthetic of the barn wedding venue in Boerne, Texas, so it was the perfect palette choice!

How cute is their cake topper?!?!  Creations Cakes did such a great job!

I have to take a moment to brag about Kristine, one half of the husband and wife team owners of CW Hill Country Ranch.  Not only was she there running the venue, but she was also the wedding planner AND florist!  She’s so talented and does absolutely everything with love! She and her husband pray over the marriage of each and every couple that gets married at their beautiful barn wedding venue in Boerne, Texas.

I’m not sure I’ve ever cried so much during a special dance with the parents.  As Joshua was dancing with his mom, a recording of Joshua from when he was little played over the music.  I’m pretty sure the voice over started from when he was just two years old.  His mom cried and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

After the dancing was kicked off, we stepped out to capture some romantic portraits of the bride and groom just before sunset.
