On December 7th last year, it snowed in Texas.  Evan took the opportunity of the magic that is snow in Texas to propose to his girlfriend, Marlee.  Marlee’s sister was there and suggested they take some pictures in the snow.  Since they were going to take pictures, her sister told her to fix her hair (that’s what sisters are for!).  Once her hair was picture-ready, they headed outside.  When it was Evan and Marlee’s turn to take photos together, he got down on one knee to ask Marlee to be his wife.  She said yes and the two became husband and wife one year and one day later.  It was a joy to be their CW Ranch wedding photographer on Saturday!

Marlee and Evan opted to include a first look into their wedding day. It’s where the bride and groom get to see each other before the ceremony.  They have the opportunity to hold hands, pray together, truly and freely react to seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, and just enjoy the moment together.

After the first look is the perfect opportunity for romantic portraits!

Marlee’s bridesmaids had these cute shawl wraps because it was in the 30s outside!  BURR!!!  You’d never guess it, though, based on how big they were smiling!

The most ADORABLE flower girl dresses!  They were perfect for spinning, too!

Even though Evan had already seen Marlee and spent the afternoon with their friends, he still got emotional when he saw her walking down the aisle.

We had to fight for this veil shot and I’m so glad we did!!

Their wedding guests had options when it came to dinner and dessert!  They had food stations of bbq sliders (brisket or pulled pork), tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, or bacon macaroni and cheese!  YUM!  Definitely some of my favorite food served at a wedding!  Comfort food!  Then, guests had the option of strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, or pecan pie for dessert!

Marlee and Evan, thank you so much for inviting us to be your CW Ranch Wedding photographer!  We loved spending the day with y’all!  Kristine was SO RIGHT when she told us y’all were the perfect fit for us!  Congratulations, again!
