For all my BOHO brides out there who like a touch of rustic, this wedding inspiration is for you!  Shot at the newest wedding venue in Georgetown, Texas, just miles north of Austin, Dimebox Ballroom is a family-run cedar barn wedding venue with vintage windows and doors.  The inside railing upstairs is made of such items as a bicycle.  Did I mention this family is made up of all artists?!?  That is abundantly clear as soon as you step foot on property!  Instead of a normal bridal suite, they transformed an Airstream into the “Bridal Armadillo” that you can see in the images below.  

The groom has his own quarters, as well, complete with an outdoor bar patio to host all of his friends.  

With all the Bohemian touches surrounding the wedding venue in Georgetown, Texas AND being just miles north of Austin, we decided to keep with that feel for this shoot.  We brought in some super vibrant colors that are simply made for summer time and this is what we came up with!

One of the ceremony options at Dimebox Ballroom is this beautiful archway.  It’s a permanent piece, so all brides are welcome to use it for their special day!  It’s decorated here by Lovely Leaves.  

Just after your ceremony, you can invite guests to enjoy your favorite cocktail!  Our ideal cocktail hour included amber medicine bottles, beautiful blooms, and, of course, a summer time signature drink with fresh berries!

We imagined an outdoor reception to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

While guests are being seated for dinner (Dimebox Ballroom includes catering in the rental), we’ll wrap up some romantic portraits of you and your beau just before sunset.  

Lily’s cakes in Harker Heights, Texas, provided our sweets for the night!  Not only were the cakes gorgeous, especially topped with blooms by Lovely Leaves, they were delicious!  Since this was an inspiration shoot, we got to taste the hot pink naked cake and it did not disappoint!

It just so happened that most of us this afternoon were super distracted and playing with the sweet puppies onsite during the season.  The family Springer Spaniel had puppies and these furry guys were just about 1-week short from going home.  We couldn’t help but include some cute photos with them.  I mean, who doesn’t love puppies?!?! 

Don’t forget, they have a honeymoon suite onsite!
