Stefanie and Riley met while in high school.  Riley actually proposed to Stefanie twice!  The first time was a prom-posal.  After winning one of her softball games, Stefanie was called to home plate as Riley prom-posed to her over the intercom.  She said yes and the two have been together ever since!

For Riley’s birthday last Summer, Stefanie bought him tickets to New York just before Christmas.  Knowing that they had a trip planned, Riley took the opportunity and got down on one knee in Central Park to ask Stefanie to be his wife.  The funny thing is that as he was down on one knee, Stefanie had turned to take a selfie.  She didn’t even notice she captured Riley on one knee until later.  She had assumed he dropped something and thought he was picking it up.  That was not the case!  He proposed only two hours after they stepped off the plane, so they could spend the rest of the weekend away celebrating.  Of course, she said yes and the two are planning a wedding in the Texas Hill Country this December.

Of all the engagement sessions I’ve photographed, I’m pretty sure Stefanie and Riley’s downtown Georgetown Texas engagement photos have the most amount of variety in background and props!  We hit six different backgrounds while downtown.  The key to that was that all the locations were pretty close together.  That means we weren’t spending too much time walking or driving to the next location.  Once we moved to the park, they had a ton of fun props, including their puppy, Hugo (who is such a sweet dog!), a blanket made out of Stefanie’s dad’s t-shirts, a bag of confetti, and some balloons!

Stefanie and Riley – thank you so much for making the drive in from Houston for your downtown Georgetown Texas engagement photos!  I had so much fun exploring with y’all and getting to know y’all better!  It’s so fun that we’re all native Pflugervillians!  :D Thank you for sharing your love story and bringing so many fun ideas to your session!  They all turned out great and I have a new favorite ring shot!  I can’t wait for y’all’s Pecan Springs Ranch wedding later this year!  I know it’s going to be full of sentimental moments!
