Now that Texas is in the full sweltering months of summer, wedding season is taking a brief slow down (not a stop, just a brief moment to catch it’s breath).  With this, I can FINALLY share some of the weddings that I’ve had the privilege of second shooting over the last year.  This first one was second shot for Click Chick Images at Dunvegan Keep in Austin, Texas.  Being at Dunvegan Keep was like walking into a fairytale in all seriousness.  If you’ve ever dreamed of being a princess and living in a castle, you should totally check this place out!

It may be hard to believe, but Heather did her own make-up for her wedding day!  For me, that would be a LOT of pressure, but Heather has this thing for make-up and made it look too easy!

After Chris knighted his groomsmen, he and Heather opted for a first look.  First Looks are AWESOME for photography schedules!  They allow more time for portraits and give the couple more images of just the two of them on their wedding day.  More than that, the two can truly take in the moment of the wedding day and really enjoy their time together.  Heather enjoyed being able to pinch Chris’ booty!  HA!

I think Heather almost lost it when she saw Chris.  So to remedy that, she hid her face behind her bouquet!  So cute!

Raisin’ the roof in excitement as you walk back down the aisle as man and wife is the definition of happy to be married!

Not only did Heather do her own make-up on her wedding day, she made her groom’s cake!  Such a talented lady!  She even had to play the role of “thief” to get the lego pieces out of Chris’ collection to act as toppers.  

Yes, they cut the cake with a sword!  You are seeing that correctly.
