This morning, I had the pleasure of picking strawberries with my nephews and almost-but-might-as-well-be-niece.  We went to Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls and they had moon walk-type activities, a petting zoo of goats, and picnic tables to enjoy lunch or your fresh from the vine strawberries!  If you haven’t been out there, it is definitely worth the trip!  I would recommend trying their strawberry smoothies, because they were PHENOMENAL!  It was a beautiful spring day and I’m excited for all the other outdoor activities that are finally coming back into season, such as Movies in the Park!  Kung Fu Panda is one of my favorite movies, probably because I just love cartoons way too much.  Tonight, they’re playing its sequel: Kung Fu Panda 2!

In celebration of Easter, don’t forget all the local egg hunts happening in your community:

Hutto is bringing the Hippo and the Easter Bunny!

Pflugerville is dropping eggs from Helicopters and giving away free hotdogs!

Georgetown is having campfire scrambled eggs and baby chicks!

Of course, your local church may be having its own Easter celebration on Sunday, so call them to see if you’d be more interested in their events!
