Stacy and Matt met on Hinge in April of 2021.  In April of this year, Matt proposed to Stacy on Mt. Bonnell.  Not only was he able to surprise Stacy, he also arranged to have both of their families in town to celebrate their engagement.  Next Spring, in April, the two will tie the knot and become husband and wife!  We took their engagement photos at Mattie’s in Austin on Tuesday and these are some of my favorites from our time together.

I love that Stacy picked blue as the main color in their outfits.  The color helps her eyes really stand out!

Mattie’s in Austin is one of my favorite locations for engagement pictures!  The Victorian architecture of the house and wrap around porch is beautiful!  The peacocks didn’t want to show off on Tuesday, but they still made a fun appearance in their images.  Mattie’s is also a unique place for intimate weddings, elopements, and rehearsal dinners.  Of course, you can go there simply for a great meal with loved ones.  I’ve been told the Milk Punch French Toast on the brunch menu is a crowd favorite!

Saving the best for last with these engagement pictures on the wrap around porch!  The columns add such beautiful dimension and the paint so perfectly complements their outfits!

This next image was their very last snap from their engagement photos at Mattie’s in Austin.  It was the perfect way to end the session, which was a beautiful blend of playful and romantic, the theme of their session.
