Jordan and Andy grew up going to the same church.  He was best friends with her brother, so, naturally, Jordan was “off limits” to Andy because you’re not supposed to date your best friends sister – it’s man law!  They each moved away from Texas, but their relationship grew into something more when they returned to their home state.  Jordan made the bold move to tell Andy how she felt and found out that he felt the same way.  The two are now engaged to be married!  They’ll tie the knot at the family ranch, so that is where we took their engagement photos!  Here are some of my favorites from their family ranch engagement photos in Thorndale, Texas.

Jordan and Andy had a special request for their family ranch engagement photos: they wanted to include the chickens!  I’m a fan of bringing your fur baby to your engagement session, so of course that works for me!  They built this chicken coop together, so it’s extra special to have it photographed.

They’ll be using this vintage Chevy as their getaway vehicle on their wedding day, so of course we had to include it! I love that there will be a ton of personal and unique details at their wedding! It’s super sweet that they’re getting married on the family ranch.  As Jordan says, they’re excited about sharing this location with future generations. That’s on top of all the memories they’ve already made here – including building the chicken coop together!

Jordan and Andy – thank you for showing me around y’all’s beautiful family ranch!  It was so great to be able to see your wedding venue before the big day, as well!  I’m so excited to celebrate with y’all and will see y’all very soon!
