I do, too! I tried out over 50 lipsticks so I could recommend the ones that would truly last all day - kiss proof for your big day!

Welcome
While taking Katherine hunting one day, Blake sent his brothers to go scout somewhere else, which was completely odd. In all the years that they had been dating, Katherine knew the group of them always hunted together in the same spot. With that, she called Blake out: he was about to propose and she KNEW it. Years before, she had told him where he should propose and she knew they were very close to that location. With his brothers gone, he was taking her to the spot she told him would be a perfect proposal location. Her instinct was correct. Blake proposed and she said yes! Although Katherine told Blake he didn’t have to get her anything, a sweet, secret box showed up in the bridal suite with Katherine’s name on it…
Blake and Katherine opted to have a first look, which I love! First looks allow couples to see each other before the ceremony, which is a great opportunity to take a minute to breathe in the day and actually spend some time with your about-to-be-spouse. You’re allowed to tell each other how much you love each other, hug, kiss, and get out some of those wedding day jitterbugs. More than that, it allows couples to take portraits, including bridal party and family portraits, before the ceremony – letting EVERYONE get to the reception (read: party) that much faster! I love them because it gives couples way more romantic portraits of just the two of them – which, after all, are the most important photos of the day!
HAHA! Katherine – this is too cute for words!
This next one is a favorite of mine that Dylan took! I’m so blessed to have a husband who supports me and goes to weddings with me (and takes photos like THIS).
Katherine, you’re GORGEOUS!!! You looked absolutely stunning in your wedding dress!
Being a Texas girl myself, I absolutely ADORE that all the groomsmen were wearing boots! I didn’t wear my boots that day and Katherine called me out on it! HA! (I was just trying to be considerate of how loud boots can be during a quite, indoor ceremony when you run around like a mad person trying to capture various angles.)
Meet Grayson. One of THE SWEETEST little ring-bearers. Ever.
This is another favorite photo of mine from Blake and Katherine’s wedding! :D
The bridesmaids had bets as to who would cry first, but they all lost when Katherine’s sister was the first to shed a tear. Also, her little brother (pictured below) was a little emotional about his sister’s big day! So sweet!
First dance: “Amazed” by Lonestar
Their first dance was interrupted by the cutest little man to ever cut-in on a husband and wife’s first dance!
Oh, how I LOVE how her dress twirls! So Pretty! Blake and Katherine, THANK YOU so much for inviting Dylan and I to be a part of your special day. You truly made us feel like family and we loved celebrating with y’all!

[…] I would absolutely recommend doing a first look to my friends! My husband and I are both very modest when it comes to showing affection towards one another in front of others. By doing a first look this gave us a chance to share our true emotions and reactions to seeing each other ready to walk down the aisle. Doing a first look did not diminish my walk down the aisle at all! There was honestly so much going on that I didn’t have the chance to see my husbands face when he saw me on the aisle for the first time. In fact, I think doing a first look enhanced my walk down the aisle. I was less worried about missing my husbands reaction (everyone always says this is the sweetest thing to see), and more excited to say our vows. – Katherine Ringstaff, Gabriel Springs Wedding […]
