Bridgett became a married lady this weekend!  That means I can FINALLY share her Garey House Bridal Portraits in Georgetown, Texas!  We took these in December on a cloudy day.  Rain had already forced us to postpone once (because white dresses and mud don’t mix).  As a teacher, Bridgett only had a few days off from school, so we pushed through the cold and cloudy forecast.  Hopefully, you’d never guess it was a cold day looking at these beautiful bridal portraits, brightened up by a stunning floral bouquet made by Laurel & Finch!

With clouds threatening to rain, my goal was to get all the bridal portraits “must-have” images before we left this space.  I’m happy to share that we accomplished just that!  This space is actually a “secret” room at Garey House, mostly hidden behind the kitchen.  Luckily, I’ve been to this Georgetown wedding venue enough to know that it’s there and to know that it has all the windows.  More windows means more natural light, which is the best thing for bridal portraits.

One of the reasons Bridgett picked Garey House for her bridal portraits is because of this pond.  Bridgett has always loved swimming, so having a water element in the background was important to her.  This image may be the favorite from her entire gallery!

Bridgett – you’re beautiful and your dress was perfect for you!  I can’t wait to start on your wedding images and share those with you!  Thank you for allowing me to document this special season for you and Grant!
