Courtney and Ryan have known each other for most of their lives.  His mom was her teacher and their grandparents are traveling buddies.  I can only imagine it’s one of those families who have been friends for decades and the parents always joke/dream about their kids getting married to officially make their best friends their family.  Well, Courtney and Ryan are doing just that!  They’ll get married this Summer, officially uniting their families.  I can’t wait to see the celebration that takes place!  Here are some of my favorites from their Garey Park engagement photos!

Garey Park is one of my favorite locations for engagement photos!  It offers a great variety of natural backgrounds and, since it’s North of Austin, couples aren’t having to fight too much traffic or hunt for a parking spot.  It’s not very well known, meaning less photo-bombers in the couple’s engagement photos.  It’s truly hard to beat for couples who want natural backgrounds that showcase the beauty of Texas!

I’m loving the color tones of their Garey Park engagement photos!  I love that they’ll have a Summer time look, to match their wedding season, and a Fall time look to remind them of their engagement season!

There are endless background options at Garey Park.  Courtney and Ryan will have trees, river, open field, and now Hill Country views as their background of their engagement photos.  It’s all walking distance at one location!

I took way too many photos at their Garey Park engagement session and I don’t even mind it!  They were so cute and just willing to have fun and be a little silly in front of my camera!  That means more authentic images that capture their unique personality as a couple.

I’ll end their session recap with this image: Courtney and Ryan running off into happily ever after!  Courtney and Ryan were such a JOY to photograph! I enjoyed every minute with the two of you and can’t wait to capture y’all’s wedding day this Summer!
