Caitlin and Craig met in middle school.  They were both in band together.  She played the flute.  He played the trumpet.  Years later, Craig worked up the courage to ask Caitlin out.  He told himself that he had to ask her before they reached the door to class.  He did and they’ve been together for over 8 years now!  They’re engaged to be married this June!  On Wednesday, we explored their current hometown.  Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from their Georgetown Texas engagement photos!

This aqua garage door at The Union on Eighth is such a fun backdrop for engagement photos!

This cute white picket fence just happened to be across the street from where we started.  Of course, we had to take some photos in front of it!

After a quick outfit change, we headed to Blue Hole.  Caitlin and Craig currently live near the San Gabriel River, so this spot is sentimental to them.  It’ll forever remind them of their first apartment together!

I’m so thankful we had SUNSHINE during their Georgetown Texas engagement photos!  There’s just something about that golden glow just before sunset that photographs so romantically!

When it was time to propose, Craig knew he wanted to pop the question before their 8 year dating anniversary.  Caitlin told him that they needed to update their portraits together, so he told her he’d get his brother to take some for them.  It was the perfect cover!  They went to Lady Bird Lake together for photos.  During that session, Craig got down on one knee to ask Caitlin to be his wife.  She said yes!
