Andrew met Jordan in the 7th grade, when Hurricane Katrina relocated his family to Texas.  The following year, the two started dating, but the timing wasn’t quite right.  Four years later, the two reconnected and have been dating ever since!  Although they went to college in different states, these high school sweethearts are officially back in Texas and are planning a fall wedding later this year in Belton!

Andrew and Jordan had originally planned to shoot their engagement session around San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, TX.  When we were close, we saw that the park was actually quite busy.  With that (and knowing Jordan isn’t a fan of showing PDA nor did any of us want photo-bombers in their background), these two trusted me enough to change their location last minute and I’m so glad they did!  Andrew said our “Option B” was actually what he had been envisioning for their session backdrop, but hadn’t been in Georgetown long enough to explore it enough for the perfect spot.  I’m SO HAPPY they were trusting enough to make such a big change at the last minute!

Dylan and I are going to spend our 5-year wedding anniversary weekend with these two!  Of all the couples to share it with, these two are THE PERFECT option!  They’re both sweet, funny, and up for just about anything!

I don’t remember what sparked the comment, but early on in their session, Andrew said something about “Peek-A-Boo!”  With that, I promised to incorporate that game into their session somehow and we DID!  I think it turned out pretty cute!

Andrew went shopping with Jordan’s mom (Hi Erin!) for props to incorporate into their session.  This is what they picked out!  SO CUTE! Andrew and Jordan, if your wedding is as half as fun as your engagement session was, I know we’re going to have a BLAST!  Thank you for trusting me to swap your location last minute and for braving the crazy amount of bugs towards the end of your session!  Y’all totally rocked the shoot and I cannot wait for your Cathedral Oaks wedding later this year!
