“My fiance is SO amazing!  He is just so perfect in my eyes!” Those were the very first words Abbi shared with me about Justin.  Her inquiry sticks out because she reached out to me before they had a date set or a venue booked.  Justin, her fiance at the time, had been the best man at his best friend’s, Stacy’s wedding, which I had the joy of photographing. Stacy told him that I made picture-taking FUN, which is a huge compliment coming from a groom.  Abbi and Justin wanted their day to resonate with joy & happiness and a photographer who could keep up with their crew, who have all known each other for years.  It is one of the highlights of my career to have been their Hidden River Ranch wedding photographer!

Abbi and Justin are some of the nicest, warmest, and most genuine people and it was my honor to document this celebration for these two!

Abbi’s mom was crying as she buttoned Abbi into her wedding dress.  Then, there was happy dancing after the veil was on.

Once Abbi was dressed for her Hidden River Ranch wedding, her dad was invited to share a first look with her.

Then, it was Abbi’s bridesmaids turn to see her in her wedding dress for the first time.

We took this photo at Stacy’s wedding, when Justin was the best man.  Of course we had to recreate it for Justin’s wedding at Hidden River Ranch!  These two have such a close friendship!

Indoor Chapel Wedding Ceremony in Lampasas, Texas

Abbi and Justin said “I do” at the foot of the cross inside the chapel of Hidden River Ranch in Lampasas, Texas.

One of the perks of having a second photographer on your wedding day is that they have the close up image above and the scene that tells more of the bigger picture below.

Abbi wanted fun photos with her wedding party and that is just what happened!  Justin popped a bottle of champagne and they all cheered that Abbi and Justin were officially married!

Wedding Reception at Hidden River Ranch

Abbi says she knew after her very first dance with Justin that he was meant to be hers forever.  I can’t imagine the joy they must have both felt, sharing their first official dance together as husband and wife.  Dancing was one of their first memories together and now they know they have their forever dance partner.

Abbi and her dad kicked off the dance floor by shotgunning a beer together!  It was a party!

Shout out to Bailey and Stacy who referred me to Abbi and Justin!!  I photographed their wedding in Fredericksburg two years ago.  They just welcome their first baby and I’m hoping to get to do family photos for them soon!

At the reception, Justin’s sister, Jordan, caught the bouquet and her boyfriend caught the garter!

This is Justin’s mom giving Abbi the biggest hug ever!  I love that Justin’s family loves Abbi just as much as they love Justin!  That will be such a blessing in their marriage!
