Erin and Kyle traveled from Colorado Springs for their destination wedding in the Texas Hill Country.  They chose Lake LBJ as their backdrop and had a beautiful day!  It was an honor to be their Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club wedding photographer!

Tied to Erin’s wedding bouquet was this little elephant and a lace bow.  Each represented Erin’s grandmas.

Once Erin’s mama and sisters had her dressed in her wedding gown, it was time for the bridesmaids to get their first peek at the beautiful bride!  After this moment, Erin took time to hug each and every one of her bridesmaids!  It was so clear, all day, that Erin and Kyle both put people first and love on others so well!

Erin and Kyle chose to include a first look into their wedding day.  The first look is a great opportunity to get some of those wedding jitters out and see the one person you’re most excited to see on your wedding day!  Erin and Kyle took it one step further and read personal vows to each other during this private moment.

Another bonus of including a first look on your wedding day is more portraits of you and your spouse.  On top of that, we can take bridal party portraits before the ceremony gets started.  That means this fun group got to go straight to cocktail hour after the ceremony and the party was started earlier!

I love the tropical feel of this Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club wedding!  The florals in the bouquets and boutonnieres paired with the palm trees really add to the destination wedding feeling!

Erin and Kyle’s wedding ceremony took place at the Lily Lawn of Horseshoe Bay Resort’s Yacht Club.  The site overlooks the lake and is the perfect spot for weddings!  I also loved that they were playing worship and praise songs as guests arrived and took their seats.  That with this beautiful floral cross both served as reminders of their faith and commitment to put Jesus first in their marriage.  (Fun fact: I’m pretty sure their first *official* date was Kyle inviting Erin to church with him after meeting her on New Year’s Eve!)

After their wedding ceremony at Horseshoe Bay Resort, Kyle carried Erin across the Lily Lawn, just like this!

After some “just married” portraits, it was time to invite their guests to dinner.  Their olive green, blush, and soft orange wedding reception was held outdoors at sunset.

Erin and Kyle cut a small wedding cake, but the real treat that night was Amy’s Ice Cream!  I’m pretty sure the ice cream was a huge hit on a summer night in Texas!  These two even had spoons that said “His Ice Cream” and “Her Ice Cream”!

Their wedding guests had a fun dance party under the stars!  There was even a storm blowing in, but that couldn’t put a damper on their night!  They exited their wedding reception via boat and everyone cheered!

Erin and Kyle – thank you SO MUCH for inviting us to be your Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club wedding photographer!  We enjoyed spending the day with you and your loved ones!  Y’all were an absolute JOY to work with and we know that your joy radiates from y’all always, not just on your wedding day.  Congratulations!
