I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
On Sunday, Brian and Nicolle tied the knot at House on the Hill in Austin, Texas. They chose to get married over the holiday weekend, as they thought it would be a great opportunity to have their friends travel for New Years and their wedding, getting to celebrate two occasions with one trip! Loving travel, the two celebrated their engagement with friends out of state. The original proposal story should have been in New York, but that’s a different story.
Guests were invited to sign a quilting square, as opposed to a traditional guest book. The squares will be sewn together and will make a family keepsake blanket.
Getting married in January, the bride and groom made sure to have blankets available to guests in case the weather turned chilly during their outdoor wedding ceremony.
Two friends of the couple sang The Avett Brothers’ “January Wedding” as Nicolle walked down the aisle to her almost-husband. This song was also what they danced to at their reception.
Their wedding was Christ-centered, sentimental, and absolute perfection.
I love that Nicolle’s wedding band and engagement rings are rose gold! So pretty!
Brian and Nicolle met online. Brian left their first date so he could attend a party he had committed to prior to setting a date with Nicolle. She says that his commitment and keeping his word is one of the things that first attracted her to him.
After their first dance, Nicolle and Brian invited all the married couples to join them on the dance floor.
Congratulations, Nicolle and Brian! 2016 is off to a fabulous, new start for y’all and I pray GOD has great things in store for y’all! Thank you for inviting Dylan and me into your big day!
