Kingsbury Texas Engagement Photos: Mariah & Ryan

One of the first decisions a couple makes after we’re officially official is picking a location for their engagement photos.  Mariah knew immediately that she wanted their engagement photos taken at their farm.  It was the perfect decision for them!  It’s where Mariah and Ryan got engaged and it’s where they’re building their life together, as their home was just finished being built here this year.  It was an honor to take their Kingsbury Texas engagement photos at their home and farm on Monday. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites!

Another bonus of taking their engagement photos at their home was that they could include their fur-babies!  They have two donkeys that wanted to be a part of the fun and you’ll see them throughout their engagement session!

If I told you this was one of the very first photos taken at their engagement session, would you believe me?  I wouldn’t!  Mariah and Ryan were such naturals in front of the camera!  Most couples need a 15-20 minute “warm-up” to get comfortable in front of the camera, but these two totally skipped that part!  I think part of the reason they were immediately pros was that they were super comfortable with the location they picked and didn’t need time to adjust to their surroundings.  So, if you’re planning an engagement session, keep that in mind!  Pick a location that you and your fiance actually spend time at!

This next shot is definitely a new favorite for me!  The light, her dress, and those smiles!!

Ryan said that one of his favorite things about Mariah is that they just get each other and that they have a similar humor.  It’s so easy to see that these two love to laugh together and enjoy their time with each other.
