Rachel is a wedding planner.  I’ve had the joy of working with her for the last few years, evening taking headshots for her.  While eating dinner at one of our weddings, Rachel shared that she had a boyfriend!  They met at church camp while both there as counselors and realized they attended the same church.  One year later, Layne proposed to Rachel at the very same church camp that they met at!  The kids all said that they “shipped it” and Rachel agreed.  Of course, she said yes!  The two are planning a Spring wedding next year and I’m honored that they invited me to be their Austin wedding photographer.  I’ve always enjoyed having Rachel’s giddy personality at weddings and I cannot wait to see her as a bride!  Here is a peek at some of my favorites from their Lake Georgetown engagement photos that we took this week.

Lake Georgetown could not have been any more perfect for their engagement photos!  The wildflowers there coordinated so well with the flowers on Rachel’s skirt and on her earrings!  Just wait until you see her yellow dress!  All the yellow wonderfully reflects Rachel’s vivacious, cheerful personality!

Layne had a photo request and I love that he wanted to create this next image!

Rachel’s mom and best friend brought their three fur-babies so we could take a family photo of them!  Look how cute they are!  They picked Lake Georgetown for their engagement photos location because it’s one of their favorite places to bring these four-legged children.

Look at how big Layne is smiling!  The squinty eyes when you can’t help but laugh are my favorite!

Rachel and Layne – thank you so much for meeting me this week for your engagement session at Overlook Park!  I had so much fun with the two of you and your fur-babies and can’t wait to celebrate with y’all in April!
