Welcome
I met Memorie almost 5 years ago. She was a bridesmaid in her cousin’s, Kourtney’s, wedding. That’s the day that I fell in love with this sweet family. That night, Memorie also caught the bouquet. Two years ago, we had the honor of photographing Memorie’s sister’s, Maranda’s, wedding. Memorie’s date that night was Tyler, who is now her fiance. This year, it’s their turn to tie the knot and we’re so thankful we get to serve this sweet family, again, for the THIRD time! Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from their Lake Georgetown engagement session.
Shout out to Tyler for being brave enough to risk balancing Memorie’s engagement ring on this cactus! I was too nervous that I might drop it and would have to retrieve it from the cactus needles, but it didn’t phase Tyler! It turned out to be a pretty ring shot!
Fun fact about their proposal story: Memorie found the ring in Tyler’s pocket before he got down on one knee.
Memorie scheduled their Lake Georgetown engagement session months in advance. She knew they’d have time over Spring Break. When the day finally arrived, however, it was supposed to be raining, again, in Georgetown. Lucky for me, Tyler and Memorie had a little flexibility in their schedule, so we switched days and I’m so thankful we did! We had some beautiful light and SUNSHINE!
Memorie and Tyler met online. Before they had set up their first official date, they spotted each other at Wal-Mart. Memorie tried to dodge Tyler, hoping he hadn’t recognized her. He had and asked her to go out right then!
Tyler said that his most prized possession is his Aggie ring. Knowing that, this next shot is all about his ring!
Memorie and Tyler – thank you so much for making the drive in from College Station for your Lake Georgetown engagement session! I had an absolute BLAST with y’all on Thursday! I’m very much looking forward to y’all’s wedding day this Fall!
